Hello!
I hope you have been having nice weather where you are. It's a bit humid here, but that's ok with me, as the sun is shining and it just looks so pretty outside.
So about a couple of Wednesdays a month, I have been cropping at a local scrapbook store with a small group of lovely ladies. The store charges $5 for you to come and use their space and supplies, and you also get free drinks and chocolate. I try not to bring too much stuff, as it always takes me forever to finish something anyway. I like to think it's because I'm so detail-oriented. Others may just call me slow. LOL
Anyway, here's one of the cards I made:
River Rock was one of my favorite colors the year it was an In Color. I'm so glad it's back!
I stamped the vines from Vintage Vogue in VersaMark on River Rock, and layered flowers from the set that I stamped and cut out. I love, love, love this quote from the Occasional Quotes Level 3 hostess set. Really, I adore all of the sentiments in that set!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

This is beautiful, Melissa! Love that quote, too. Might have to use that one on a LO!
ReplyDeleteI love those flowers. Especially the dark ones. Love the edging.
You are a life saver. I am now NOT slow...I am VERY detail oriented!! Thanks a million for that line!!!
Gosh, I thought it was just me that often takes days to complete a project! Beautiful card and a big welcome back to River Rock. TFS!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to borrow that line from you as well; I'm not slow. It's called being detailed oriented. I have to remember that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice card. The embossed pattern is very pretty and those flowers just pop off the card between their shape and colors. Nice use of those grommets, too. I never know how to use them.
Love the colors Melissa! I need that embossing folder! Jennifer A.
ReplyDeleteOh my!! So many wonderful things going on with this card! Your use of the texture is perfect, and details- amazing! Thanks for the beautiful reminder of River Rock- I just don't reach for it... but will now!
